PARAMOUNT+ UK AND IRELAND TO CELEBRATE SPECIAL FORCES MISSIONS IN NEW ORIGINAL SERIES

‘Special Forces: Most Daring Missions’ will be narrated by Tom Hardy

Soho Studios Entertainment and Two Rivers Media to produce with international distribution handled by Sphere Abacus.

Soho Studios Entertainment and Two Rivers Media have today announced they are producing an original factual series for Paramount+ UK and Ireland, titled ‘Special Forces: Most Daring Missions’

Each episode of ‘Special Forces : Most Daring Missions’ will celebrate a different real life assignment undertaken by an elite military force.

Across the three episode run, the first series will focus primarily on Britain’s SAS, widely regarded as one of the world’s best Special Forces units, looking at the unit’s most incredible exploits including ‘Operation Nimrod’, the Iranian Embassy siege in London.

The series was ordered by Federico Ruiz, Commissioning Editor, Factual and Non-Scripted, at Paramount+, is expected to launch on Paramount+ platform this year.

Ian Lamarra, Alan Clements and Tom Hardy will assume Executive Producer duties, with Robert Neill (Cassius X: Becoming Ali) on board as Series Producer and David Whitney (Dogs of War) as Series Director.

Sphere Abacus will be adding the series to their international distribution catalogue ahead of the forthcoming MIPCOM event in Cannes (21-24th October)
